Windows Movie Maker
Windows Movie Maker is similar in functionality to iMovie for Windows PCs. It is available for free download. Disclaimer - It is very easy to use, but the options are extremely limited...not recommended if you plan on inserting even 1 audio track.
Audacity
Audacity is an Open Source audio editor, made for multiple platforms. Audacity makes it simple to meld audio, plan out soundtracks, and to manipulate audio sources to be used with video productions.
