Welcome
This is a wiki that our class put together in order to collect our experiences and resources during the Fall 2009 Topics in Digital Media graduate course at NYU. We hope that the information here will help to give you an overview of the different things we discussed in class - things we believe are a good representation of 'digital media' in our world. Of course as with any topic, there is much more, but we'd like to think of this as a good starting point.
The Getting Started page has the instructions from our professor, Mushon Zer-Aviv, to help us create this wiki knowledge-base.
Please feel free to add or change information on this wiki!
Topics We Covered
We talked about many topics during the course of this class. There were lively (and sometimes not so lively) discussions about these.
Topics ranged from:
Tools We Talked About
This is a list of tools that we used and talked about through the semester. It is obvious that these affect our digital lives in a huge way.
Interesting People in the Field
Tips for Future Generations
We hope that future students of this class can gain from our experiences - good and bad.
Also, you can check out the How To and Resources pages from our class blog.
