“Dazzlin’ Dilated Displayin’ New Styles…Live On Stage…”

YouTube Preview Image

Okay…so i have been trying for the last hour to make this post podcast compatible without ANY success (uploaded it to both Mediafire and Zshare and it still isn’t working..), so finally I uploaded it to Youtube instead even though it’s just audio…at least you can hear me speak in streaming.  Below is the link to my old podcast (link on Mediafire, i promise it’s safe!) that I used to do (just for fun!) as well as to the Wired article that inspired me to pursue this particular subject…

Awesome, I’m very much looking forward to this. The Jay Electronica thing sounds just like the way raves used to work in the 90s.I’m super excited for the future of webcasts, I think it has the potential to be a really big thing. I watched an entire concert as it was happening from my bedroom this past summer being streamed by an audience member on his phone through UStream.com. You may want to check it out. It was a bit spotty at times but, but all in all it was really technologically amazing. It seems from most of your examples (besides the U2 youtube broadcast), social media is so far best embraced by more independent artists. Sigh, not surprising at all.

Hey, H-Man. Love the topic, and you are a good talker (not easy to do). WNYC’s On the Media had a special music edition recently that I think you might enjoy. It is very relevant. http://www.onthemedia.org/topics/music/1
