Expanding on my earlier inquiries into Alternate Reality Games, I decided upon viewing the creation of community within these worlds. Specifically, I want to know how do people start to form once they enter the rabbit hole (the entry point or doorway) and begin playing in the game. How these communities collaborate and come together to try and solve the riddles and puzzles that appear within a game? Going off of this point, I want to know how the element of competition enters into ARG’s, and complicates the cooperative aspect of puzzle solving? If there is some sort of personal reward, what is the trade off between collective participation and personal desire to win?

To me your last uestion is very interesting. have you managed to find a current ARG? Ph and please change your title to a question.
I’m trying to catch up on one that started recently in August, going by the name “O.P. Smith” right now. I was also clued into one called “39 Clues”, which is actually a product line of books and games from Scholastic to help children learn about collective intelligence- should be an interesting lesson in values in design.
